Diovan Side Effects

 Diovan which belongs to a category of drugs known as ‘angiotensin II receptor antagonists’ is used to keep blood vessels from constricting, significantly lowering blood pressure and improving the flow of blood in the body. Diovan is used to treat high blood pressure or heart failure.  Doctors also prescribe the medication to reduce the risk of death after a heart attack.

  10. Headache  or dizziness

The lesser common but more severe allergic reactions that can take place as a result of taking Diovan includes chest pain, confused state of mind, decreased urination, inability to perform while having sex, peeling of skin, unusual thirst, increased heart beats, depression, shortness of breath, swelling in the arms and legs, yellowing of skin or eyes and vomiting

You should also tell the doctor if you are taking a water pill or a diuretic. There are some medicines that can interact with Diovan. You should tell the doctor about any of the medicines that you use, including over- the- counter medication and herbal products so that there is no scope of reaction or interaction while administering Diovan.
